I've added this board to the forum to help connect those looking for biochar with the biochar marketplace.

Have biochar for sale and want people to know about it?  Posting about it here is a good place to start.

To create a new posting, rather than reply to this post, please go to,54.0.html and click 'New Topic'.

The purpose of the series is to consider the role of these environmental factors in agriculture. This may be elected as a UMass course but is open to others at no charge.

The first of these seminars will be on Thursday, Jan. 23 and will be a presentation about the series and an overview by Prof., Stephen Herbert. The following 12 seminars will be by UMass professors and invited speakers who are authorities in these areas.

The complete schedule may be found at the website of the Pioneer Valley Biochar Initiative at , that of International Biochar Initiative at
http:// or of the UMass Stockbridge School of Agriculture at under “Course Descriptions” for STOCKSCH 491B and STOCKSCH 691. Further information may be obtained from Prof. Herbert at or by phone at 413-545-2250.

This podcast isn't about biochar, but is a good intellectual analysis of our current local/global financial system and energy consumerism and impending eco[nomic] & eco[logic] bankruptcy.
